Lanny Ray Noggle, 66, died March 19, 2011 at Halsey Hall in Fort Dodge. He was born on November 25, 1944 at Garden City the son of Clifford "Pete" and Glenda L. (Johnston) Noggle.

Mr. Noggle graduated from Dodge City High School. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 – 1970. In the early 1970’s he went to work for the Martin Marietta Company as a missile launch technician. Lanny returned to his hometown of Dodge City when he retired in 2003. He loved working crossword puzzles and hunting for Indian artifacts and rocks. Lanny played the guitar in bands for many years.

He was a member of the Howard Gotschall Post #1714 V.F.W.

Mr. Noggle is survived by his father, Clifford "Pete" Noggle of Dodge City; one brother, Lynn Noggle of Chandler, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda L. Noggle and one sister, Lurleen Barrand. 

Memorial graveside service will be held at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Fort Dodge on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Military graveside rites will be performed by Howard Gotschall Post #1714 V.F.W. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
