Donna Lynne Swanson Smalley

Mrs . Donna Lynne Smalley, 32 of 2404 Diane Drive, died at her home early Sunday. She was born Aug. 22, 1945, in Dodge City.

She grew up in Dodge City and was a 1963 graduate of Dodge City Senior High School  and 1966 graduate of Dodge City Community College. She and Donald D. Smalley were married July 17, 1966, in Dodge City.

They lived at Great Bend until 1971; at Hays until 1973; and at McPherson until June  of 1978.

Mrs. Smalley was a member of the United Methodist Church of McPherson, a member and past president of Beta Sigma Phi sorority at McPherson and had been leader of the campfire Girls.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Todd, and a daughter, Gayla of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Swanson of Dodge City; a brother Ted Swanson of Dodge City; a grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Swanson, and a step-grandmother, Mrs, Sam Deines, both of Dodge City. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Swanson.

The Funeral has been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Hulpieu-Swaim Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer L. Brooks, and Dean E. Burton minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Greencrest memorial Gardens. Family members suggest memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
